I will wait. While they're injured, while their fate hangs in the balance, I'll wait.

I'll wait because they go into the fire instead of away from it. Because they put their lives and their safety on the line to save me and my daughter. Because they take the injuries and broken bones and battered bodies that we'll never have to endure.

They are Major Carter and Colonel O'Neill. They are the leaders of the first line of defense against the Goa'uld. They're my friends.

I will wait. To be here while they heal is the least I can do.
