Ja'net looked up as Colonel O'Neill and General Hammond entered her cell. She rose slowly, standing at attention, and awaited their decision. "Ja'net," O'Neill said. "General Hammond has been briefed on your actions during SG-1's imprisonment and has agreed upon my recommendation that you join SG-1." He extended a hand. "Congratulations."

Ja'net, former First Prime to Nirrti, bowed her thanks and said, "Thank you, General Hammond. I shall strive to honor the trust you are putting in me."

"See that you do," Hammond said, turning and leaving the cell.

Jack smiled. "Welcome to the team, Ja'net."

Ja'net returned the smile. "Thank you, Colonel O'Neill."
