Janet looked up from her drink as the dashing pirate produced a rose from the sleeve of his tunic. His face was mostly covered by a black mask, which revealed only a thick blonde mustache. "Thank you, kind sir," Janet said, politely taking the rose. She was dressed as the fair maiden, after all.

Later in the night, she stopped Siler by the punch. "Hey! Weren't you dressed as a pirate?" she asked.

"Nope," Siler smiled.

She looked around and discovered the mustache discarded on a table. And, try as she might, she never did learn what Sam had dressed as that night.
