'We are each the love of someone's life.'

Janet stared into the questioning eyes, felt her heart tug, and knew the right course of action. She knew what she had to do. Because it didn't matter what anyone else thought; the person standing in front of her was the love of her life.

She knelt, extending her hands. "Hey, Cassandra," she said softly. "What do you think about staying with me for a little while?"

The girl tentatively took Janet's hands and the brunette felt her heart soar.

We are each the love of someone's life. Janet had found hers.
