Janet pulled a fresh sheet of paper in front of herself, dabbed the tip of her pen against her tongue (force of habit) and began to write. Slowly at first, making delicate swoops and dipping each curlicue just so to make it look like calligraphy. Halfway down the page, Cassandra poked her head in. "Hey, Mom." She smiled evilly. "What're you doing, writing love letters?"

Janet pondered that, then a smile slowly spread across her lips. "Yeah. Love letters."

The page was filled with the same three 'love letter.' S, A and M.

'Love letters,' Janet thought. 'I like that a lot.'
