Could I be any more proud of her? It wasn’t such a surprise for me, Jack told me and swore me to secrecy. But it still doesn’t stop me from being proud.

Look at her, smiling, not being able to contain her embarrassment. She deserves this. Especially after what she just went through.

I can’t stop smiling either. I feel like the one being promoted. And I know that’s silly. I can’t take my eyes off her. When she’s in her uniform, she does something to me. We’ll have our own celebration later, just us.

I’m so proud of her.
