Daniel looked past Jack's shoulder. "Sam's not coming?"

"Nope," the colonel sighed. "She had something she's been meaning to do. She started to tell me, but... you know me and science."

"Sam's been making a lot of excuses to get out of these post-mission dinner parties," Daniel asked. "Hope nothing's wrong..."

"Nah," Jack assured the younger man. "It might be a woman thing, though. Doc Fraiser seems to be finding a lot of excuses to stay behind, too."

"Female bonding?"

"Your guess is as good as mine," Jack said, patting Daniel on the back and motioning at the elevators. "Come on, Teal'c's waiting. Let's go."
