It was 7 minutes after midnight. Janet and Sam stood on opposite sides of the kitchen island. Sam looked sheepish. Janet looked furious. "I don't know what to tell you," Sam said, still denying.

"You knew I was saving that chocolate bar," Janet accused.

"Maybe... Cassie took it."

Janet came around the island and grabbed the lapels of Sam's pajama shirt. She pulled the taller woman down into a kiss, tasting the damning chocolate on the other woman's tongue. She pulled back, licking her lips. "You, dear, are busted."

Sam lifted Janet, gently placing her on the island. "Bust me some more," she insisted.
