Note: Title from Warren Zevon's song of the same name. It doesn't fit the challenge it was written for, but it's a nice little story anyway...

Janet quirked her lips and tilted her head to one side. "Huh," she said. She held hands with Samantha Carter, who was keeping an eye on the wandering Cassandra. Janet repeated, "Huh."

"What, hon?" Sam asked.

"This is the Grand Canyon."

Sam nodded. "In all it's splendor."

"It ain't that pretty at all."

Sam raised her eyebrows. "Are you kidding? The sun is setting... Look at those formations! And the river below. It's nature at it's most amazing and awe-inspiring."

Janet shrugged. "I guess. But I'm still more awed by you."

They kissed softly as the sun set over the now decidedly humdrum hole in the ground.
