Woman, Trust In Yourself

Did you hear those beautiful strains of a violin?
Did you see the moon, feel its beams
Penetrating deep into sacred scared
scarred souls of fear and love?
Of courage and hate?
Mine. Yours. Ours. Hers. His. Theirs.
Can you believe it?
Will you own it?
Has it changed the way you are?
Did you hear those beautiful strains of a violin?

Did they make you want to fondle,
take her in your arms, to enfold
warmth on warmth, woman with woman,
soft and sensual, close? Connected?
Or did it remind you of past pains and hurt
where black bruises have not yet healed,
where you’re stuck, helpless, your fate’s sealed
There’s nothing more.
Did you sob? Did you throb
And throb? Did you sob?
Did you hear those beautiful strains of a violin?
