Chapter 6; Mike's Plan

Mike McQueen was tired as he trudged through the front door of his home. The handsome master of the McQueen residence had been gone for an entire week to Colorado, on a series of meetings with corporate heads of a company that his stockbrokerage firm was handling millions of dollars for. Mike had set things in order, and had hastily returned home, anxious to lie in the arms of his loving, pretty wife, Jane McPherson. Now, Mike threw his briefcase onto the couch, loosened his tie, and watched as the front door of his house opened, and his step-daughter and daughter entered. Mike's eyes nearly popped out of his blond head as he followed the sight before him; A brooding Samantha climbed up the stairs with Brooke closely in tow, carrying both her own, and Sam's book bag in her arms. Samantha, ethereal beauty even in her silent ways, wore a frown. Brooke, golden to the core, wore the look of a lover in her hazel eyes as she smiled goofily, and followed Sam up the stairs in what could only be called reverence.

"Jane?" Mike yelled as he walked into the kitchen, and found his pretty wife next to the stove stirring the contents of a pot, and turning to slice an onion. Mike pulled Jane away from the stove, and hugged her tightly, "it's so good to see you, babe."

"Hey handsome," the woman purred with a smile, as she bestowed a kiss on Mike's cheek.

Mike pulled away, and sat at the kitchen table, "Jane...what's going on with Sam and Brooke?"

"So you noticed already?" Jane replied with a smile.

"Sam looks like a corpse...and Brooke is following her around like a...a..."

"Dog?" Jane interjected as she quirked an eyebrow.

"Well...yeah," Mike admitted, "its not natural at all!" Although Mike never approved of the girls constant battles, it still seemed normal to see them that way, "what happened?"

"Remember that Sam was dating Emory?"

"Uh..." Mike wrinkled his nose in disgust, because it irked him that such a beautiful girl could want such an ugly boy.

"Say no more, Mike. I know. I found it odd too...Emory wasn't Sam's usual type. But it seems that they were genuinely in love."

Mike simply scratched his head, and continued in his dazed condition, "uh..."

"Emory has sort of vanished," Jane added in a cryptic fashion, "and Sam doesn't seem to remember him. Now she's sort of...lost."

"But why is Brooke..."

"Brooke is in love with Sam," Jane said quietly.

"Uh..."

"Brooke is gay, Mike."

"But..."

"You're a liberal, Mike. Remember?" Jane smiled at her poor, befuddled, handsome soulmate.

"Yeah...I know...but still..."

"Brooke won't let anyone but me near Sam now. She doesn't want to take a chance that Sam will fall in love with anyone else."

"Still..."

"Mike...I don't mind my little girl ending up with your little girl. Its all really kind of simple."

"How so?"

"Well..." Jane began, "Brooke is decent, clean, and a good girl. I trust her completely. I think Sam is a very lucky girl."

"Uh..."

"There's no need for me to worry about Sam getting aids, or getting pregnant," Jane added, "don't you agree?"

"Well yes," Mike replied, "I guess boys are a problem. And Sam is a very nice girl. So I guess I have to agree with you, Jane."

"Good," Jane smiled, and kissed her husband on the cheek, "then its all settled!"

"Are they going steady yet?"

"Brooke is waiting for Sam to stop brooding," Jane replied.

"I have a great idea, Jane."

"What?"

"Let's send the girls up to our cabin in the mountains for a few days! The two of them will be alone in a romantic setting. Brooke will have the perfect opportunity to ask Sam to go steady with her."

"You are a GENIUS, Mike!" Jane exclaimed with glee.

"Lets talk to Brooke right now!" Mike said with sudden energy.

"Yeah!"

"Yeah!"

Upstairs in Samantha's room, Brooke sat on Sam's bed watching the girl of her dream sleeping. Brooke's gentle hand played with Sam's dark hair, and at times her fingers drifted off to lightly caress the brunette's soft cheek, "oh Sammy...I love you so much!"

There was a soft knock on the door of Sam's room which startled Brooke out of her thoughts. The blond got up from Sam's bed, and quietly answered the door.

Standing in the hall, outside the door, Brooke saw Jane, smiling, motioning to her.

"Brooke, your dad and I want to talk to you."

"But mom..."

"Sam will be just fine, baby," Jane soothed, "now come downstairs right now."

"Aaawww...okay mom," Brooke admonished, "wait a minute," then Brooke went to the bed where Sam slept, leaned down, and kissed the sleeping girl's forehead. Then Brooke went back to where Jane stood.

Jane was speechless as she witnessed Brooke's tenderness toward her daughter, and she felt a sudden wave of love for her blond step-daughter, "you know, Brooke...I'm glad I married your dad...because I not only got a great husband, but also a wonderful daughter at the same time!"

"Oh...mommy!" Brooke hugged the pretty woman.

"I do hope that goof I have for a daughter opens her eyes and sees what a wonderful girlfriend she is getting," Jane confessed as she hugged Brooke back, "now come on, your dad is waiting!"

A reluctant Brooke tore herself away from her beloved Sam's side, then went downstairs in a dark mood to meet her father whom she expected to be waiting with a scolding atitude and giant reprimands. Brooke descended the stairs of her private palace, and trudged heavily into the kitchen to be judged and condemned by her father. Instead of an ominous greeting and scowl from the author of her days, Brooke was amazed to find her dad Mike sitting at the kitchen table, in a chirpy mood while happily chatting away with his pretty wife Jane who sat next to him about mundane matters. Brooke stood silent a few seconds to watch her dad in absolute awe.

"Brooke come over here," Mike motioned to his pretty daughter who stood in the doorway of the kitchen, "sit down," the handsome man pointed to the seat across from him at the kitchen table.

"Yes sir," Brooke replied dutifully as she sat at the appointed seat.

"Well," Mike fidgeted nervously as he looked into his daughter's amber colored eyes.

"Yeah dad?"

Jane who sat beside Mike nudged him in the side with her elbow, then nodded encouraginly at him to continue.

"Brooke about you and Sam..."

"Dad," Brooke interjected quickly, "I'm in love with Sam. I can't help it!" the girl cried breathlessly, "its permanent! I know you don't approve but..."

"I haven't said anything yet Brooke!"

"But I expect you to be against me dad cause you're just so..."

"Stiff?"

"Well yeah," Brooke admitted with shame and downcast eyes, "and you're so..."

"Cold?" Mike's blue eyes bore deeply into his daughter's insecure gaze.

"That too!" Brooke replied quietly, "and..."

"You're the same way too!" Mike completed Brooke's unfinished sentence.

"You love mom a lot," Brooke said as she returned her father's piercing gaze with one of her own.

"Deeply," Mike said as he smiled at Jane and took her pale hand in his own larger one.

"Then you know how I feel about Sam, dad," the girl said softly, "this love is so deep inside of me that it will never come out. And I don't want it to! This is for life!"

"Even if you're only seventeen years old Brooke? You've already determined that Sam is your mate for life?"

"I found my soulmate at seventeen dad. You found yours at forty. Does it really matter how old you are if its real love and for a lifetime?"

"True," Mike nodded in agreement, "you make a good argument Brooke."

"But have I convinced you dad?"

"Not completely," Mike replied, "does Sam feel the same way about you?"

Brooke lowered her head to hide her tears, "somewhere somehow," the girl's voice trembled, "I know that she still loves me. I just have to make her remember it!" Brooke looked up, "she loves me dad. She always has. Just like I always loved her. But a lot of things got in the way. I was a jerk. Sam found someone else and..."

"Its alright Brooke," Mike said gently, "I understand."

"Dad...you approve?" Brooke asked hesitantly.

"It'll take some time getting used to this," Mike admitted as he looked at Jane with a smile, "but yes...I approve."

"Oh dad," Brooke was briefly happy but then her defences broke down and she began to cry, "I'm so scared dad. I think Sam really was in love with Emory and she might not love me again!"

Mike reached out and covered Brooke's left hand with his own larger one, "then you need to turn on the the McQueen magic and romance that McPherson upstairs!"

"Will it work dad?"

"Hey!" Mike exclaimed loudly, "I'll have you know that the McQueen charm is so powerful no one can resist it. I should know... it got me my own McPherson!" then Mike turned to Jane and kissed her on the cheek as the woman giggled, "besides I have the perfect plan for you to get Sam back!"

"You do?" Brooke couldn't help the hopeful tone in her tear-filled voice.

"Why don't you take Sam up to the cabin I have up in Las Tunas?" Mike added, "you can drive up there with her tonight and come back Monday morning just in time to be back in school."

"Today is Tuesday..." Brooke counted her fingers as her mind considered her dad's plan, "Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday...That's..." Brooke's eyes widened considerably, "FOUR AND A HALF DAYS ALONE WITH SAM? But what about school?"

"I'll call the school and explain that you and Sam have caught the flu," Jane said with a smile.

"Oh yes!" Brooke couldn't hold back anymore as she got up, went around the table and hugged Mike and Jane while kissing each repeatedly on the cheek, "thank you thank you thank you!"

"Go on," Mike commanded with a wave of his hand, "go get ready for the trip. If you start right now you two will be in Las Tunas by nightfall."

"SSSSSSSSSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMM!" Brooke happily bounded out of the kitchen, through the living room and the sound of her footsteps going up the stairs could be heard by the two adults still sitting together at the kitchen table.

"Sam doesn't stand a chance!" Mike said with a smirk spreading across his face.

"McQueens are sexy and irresistible!" Jane said as she hugged Mike, "I should know!"

There was nowhere else in the world that Brooke wanted to be but constantly by Sam's side; watching the girl sleep, helping her through the school day, tending to all of her needs. The lanky blond was surprised that her father Mike approved of her having a relationship with Sam, "yeah...sure. Everything looks hunky dory NOW when Sam doesn't want me. Why couldn't it be like this before?" Brooke sighed and relented on her negative thoughts, "I can't give up. I have to get Sam back. I just have to fight harder!" Brooke surveyed her present situation with Samantha as she walked briskly down the hall the brunette's room where she had gladly taken residence, even brazenly sleeping in the same bed and holding Sam at night. "At least Emory is gone for good!" The blond cheerleader couldn't help the hope begining to well up inside her, "I have a slim chance! I'm not going to stop til Sammy is all mine!" Brooke straightened as she entered Sam's room and found the girl silently moping in bed. Brooke quickly approached the bed and sat down beside the girl of her dreams, "hey Sam."

"Hey Brooke."

"You've been moping for days Sammy."

"Yeah," Sam sighed, "and I don't even know why. Its almost as if I were in mourning."

Brooke looked away, embarrassed at the private sad emotions flashing across Sam's beautiful face and wishing they were for her, "I think I know a way to cheer you up!"

"Yeah?"

"Dad just said you and I can go up to our cabin in Las Tunas for a few days! What do you think?"

"Oh," Sam said nonchalantly, "thanks Brooke for the thought but I just don't feel like being cheered up."

Brooke did some fast thinking, "well then...what if you went up there with me to do some uninterrupted moping?"

Sam looked at Brooke strangely, "Um...well I never thought of that before."

"So its a good idea?"

"Yeah it is," Sam admitted reluctantly.

"And I can go for my own reasons," Brooke added chirpilly.

"What are your reasons for going Brooke?"

"None of your business!" Brooke replied with a huge smirk.

Sam laughed for the very first time in days and Brooke felt so giddy she could have died.

"Okay McQueen you win!" Sam surrendered.

"Oh yes yes yes yes!" Brooke got up and began to jump up and down on Sam's bed.

"BROOKE STOP THAT!"

"Oh oopppsss....sorry!" Brooke stopped bouncing like a hyper three year old child.

"No problem."

"Cmon Sam. Get up. Get ready!"

"Why?"

"We're leaving right now for Las Tunas."

"Now?"

"Right now!"

"Absolutely not McQueen!"

"Spoilsport!"

"Brat!"

"Cmon Sam!" Brooke yelled as she grabbed Sam by her ankles and physically dragged the girl off the bed.

"BROOKE DON'T!"

"GET DRESSED McPHERSON! WE ARE LEAVING RIGHT NOW!"

"But..."

"NOW!"

Sam glared angrily at Brooke who glared back in return with the same fervor. Both girls stubbornly stood their ground for several minutes in an eye staring contest until Sam shrugged and gave in. "You win Brooke. I'm up."

"YIPPPEEEEE!" Brooke started clapping her hands and jumping all over the room as if she were a little girl just finding out that she was going on a trip to Disney World.

"You are so weird!" Sam said as she flashed Brooke her very rare, lopsided smile which the blond found incredibly endearing.

"I know. I'm a genius," Brooke replied mock-haughtily as she surveyed her fingernails in the classic stereotypical tv arrogant gesture, "now get some street rags on so we can get going snail head!"

"Are you implying that I'm slow McQueen?"

"Who's implying McPherson? Its a well known fact that you're slower than a coyote on acid!"

"That is so not true!" Sam stood defiantly with hands on hips as she surveyed Brooke.

Brooke smiled as she watched the old Sam re-emerge from the shell of darkness, "I'll betcha five bucks that you can't be ready in SIX minutes McPherson!"

"Ooooooooookkkkkkkkkkkaaaaaaayyyyyyyy...if you win you get five bucks," Sam reasoned, "but if I win..."

"You get to see me naked!" The words were out of Brooke's mouth before she could stop them.

Silence reigned for several seconds as Brooke blushed heavily, then sweated noticeably and Sam looked at her in utter shock.

"Uh...well..."Sam wasn't just confused but also cautious as how to proceed, "go get ready...I'll get my stuff together. We can meet downstairs."

"Five and a half?" Brooke couldn't stop herself now.

"Get out McQueen!"

"Five and three quarters?" Brooke couldn't stop her giggling.

"OUT!" Sam threw her pillow and bedsheets at Brooke.

Brooke was literally laughing her guts out when Sam pushed her out into the hall. Then the lanky girl went to her room to quickly gather her belongings for the trip, and secretly hoped that Sam won their silly bet and got to see her naked. As Brooke walked down the stairs, she found her step-mom Jane waiting for her dangling a set of car keys in her hand, "mom?"

"Your dad wants you to take his Hummer."

"What?" Brooke's brows shot up so high they nearly reached her hairline, "Dad wants me to drive his clunky old Hummer? No way!"

"Yes you will young lady!" Jane scolded sternly as she took the girl's hand and deposited the keys in her palm.

"But mom..."

"Brooke!" Jane glared at her step-daughter, "your dad wants you and Sam to be safe on the trip. He thinks his Hummer is safer than your SUV!"

"My SUV is a great car mom!"

"What is your problem Brooke? Its a one hundred thousand dollar car!"

"Its UGLY!"

"Oh brother!" Jane let out an exasperated sigh as she rolled her eyes, "teenagers!"

"Its so true mom,! Sam agreed as she marched down the stairs and stood next to Jane and Brooke, "its the ugliest car I've ever seen in my life!"

Brooke's heart lurched with joy as she watched Sam come down the stairs with her backpack.

"Mom," Sam began, "a Hummer looks like a cardboard box painted over and stuck on four wheels."

"Five minutes and thirteen seconds!" Brooke exclaimed as she checked her wristwatch, "you won the bet Sam!"

"What bet?" Jane was intrigued.

"I called Sam a slow poke, so we bet that she couldn't be ready to go in six minutes or less," Brooke explained. "She won the bet mom!"

"What were the stakes?" Jane asked now addicted to the little drama being played out by her two girls.

"If I won Sam would owe me five bucks," Brooke explained eagerly before Sam could stop her, "if Sam won..."

"NO!" Sam yelled with all her might as her nerves suddenly jumped into high gear, "I didn't win! The bet is off! Just forget the whole thing!"

Jane's eyes became beady and suspicious as she targeted Samantha with a piercing gaze, "what's going on here Sam? Why are you so nervous? Is there something going on?"

"Nothing is going on mom," Sam tried to assure her mom despite her obvious fidgeting.

"SAM WON THE BET!" Brooke teased loudly at the sight of a deep crimson blush coloring Samantha's delicately sculpted cheeks.

"No I did not because there is no bet!" Sam said loudly as she stomped her foot.

"You did too win!" Brooke argued as her voice cracked with repressed laughter.

"Did not!' Sam snapped as fear invaded her eyes.

"Did too!"

"Did not!"

"Did too!"

"Did not!"

"Did too!"

"Did not!"

"STOP THAT!" Jane yelled, "I'm getting a migraine!"

"Sorry mom!"

"Yeah mom, sorry."

"Now," Jane began calmly, "why are you so nervous Sam? If you won the bet...what does Brooke have to do?"

"Oooooooohhhhh," Brooke was delighted, filled with evil mischief and dying to respond, "Sam gets to see me..."

"NO!" Sam shouted, "Look at the time!" Sam pretended to look at her watch as she grabbed hold of Brooke and shoved the blond out the front door of the house, "We have to go mom!"

Jane watched amusedly as Sam pushed Brooke toward the driver's side of the Hummer, and then got into the passenger side of the vehicle.

"Nope, " Jane whispered, "Sam doesn't stand a chance."

"Neither do you gorgeous," Mike said as he came up behind Jane and hugged her.

"You want to take me upstairs handsome?"

"Yeah babe."

Chapter 7; The Road to Love

Brooke and Sam were now three hours into the journey from their home to the cabin Las Tunas. Neither girl had spoken except for a brief exchange comment on the weather or the time since the beginning of the trip. Finally a very tense Brooke decided that it was time to break the ice surrounding them, and spoke up, "remember the first time we were up at the cabin?" Brooke asked as she briefly took her eyes off the road ahead of her to glance at Sam.

"Hhhmmm," Sam smiled as she reminisced, "two years ago. We came with Mike and mom."

"We fought like cat and dog!" Brooke replied.

"Yeah," Sam chuckled, "it was sorta fun in an evil twisted sorta way. We were so mean!"

"A pair of assholes!"

"We really ruined it for poor Mike and Jane!"

Both girls began to laugh spontaneously until they turned at the same time and looked at each other. Their laughter died down as they saw the undeniable truth about how they felt about each other in their eyes.

"Um," Sam was noticeably uncomfortable as she took to looking out of the window on her side of the Hummer at the passing scenery, "yeah."

"I like it much better now," Brooke husked as her voice dripped with sexual insinuation, "its just you and me...alone."

Sam fidgeted nervously in her seat, "damn! I hate wearing seatbelts!" The girl was trying to ignore Brooke's lustful stare.

"Why are you so nervous Sammy?"

"I'm so not nervous!" Sam exclaimed a tad bit too loudly, "what makes you think that I'm nervous?"

"Oh not much!" Brooke smiled mischievously as she looked away from Sam and back at the road.

Sam settled down and tried to calm her nerves. The girl concentrated and managed to get her breathing back to normal. Silence reigned between her and Brooke, which led the brunette to think that Brooke was starting to behave herself. Sam went back to staring out of her window until her eyelids began to droop with sleep, and her head began to droop forward.

"HEY!" Brooke reached over and poked Sam's side with her free hand.

"OW! WHAT?" Sam woke from her half sleep unceremoniously as she jumped out of her seat and hit her head on the ceiling of the Hummer. "OUCH! BROOKE!"

"What?" Brooke asked calmly as she tried to appear nonchalant while inwardly fighting to keep her pink lips from curling upwards into an amused smile.

"Why the hell did you just do that McQueen?"

"BECAUSE I don't want you asleep Sam. I want you with me...awake, nervous and scared of me!"

"I am NOT scared of you!"

Brooke laughed heartily as she watched Sam getting angrier and clumsier and more nervous as her cheeks almost lit up like twin Christmas trees in several shades of passion pink and furious red. "I like it you know..."

"Whatever do you mean?"

"You," Brooke's voice became husky again as she slowed down the Hummer to a lower speed, "seeing you like this...nervous and scared like a virgin bride on her wedding night."

"OH PLEASE!" Sam was beside herself with indignation, "I am NOT a virgin! This isn't like we're on a...a..." Sam was almost gagging on the word that had turned into a rock in her dry throat while she was dying of acute embarrassment.

"A HONEYMOON?"

"Stop that Brooke!"

"OUR honeymoon Sammy?" Brooke was giggling helplessly now as tears began to stream from her eyes.

"STOP THAT!" Sam looked like she was about to explode, "we are NOT on a honeymoon! This is NOT A HONEYMOON! This is just one of your scatter-brained ideas that I stupidly fell into!"

"Oh whatever you say Sammy!" Brooke's smirk was reaching gigantic proportions.

"You are just ssssssoooo obnoxious McQueen!"

"OH LOOK SAMMY!" Brooke said unexpectedly as she brought the Hummer to a complete halt and pointed out the window.

"WHAT?" Sam's head turned so quickly that it almost seemed it was going to be a case of permanent whiplash for her neck.

"A diner up ahead. Wanna stop and get something to eat?" Brooke asked as her voice and manner became almost commonplace.

Sam was quite perplexed, even confused as she stared at Brooke for a few seconds, "okay," the girl said slowly, terrified of her step-sister's unexpected mood swings from hot to cold or from sexpot to regular chic.

"We'll go through the drive thru window," Brooke explained casually as she turned the Hummer into the Diner's driveway, "that way we can eat on the way to the cabin. Okay?"

"Sure," Sam replied with evident caution as she curiously eyed her blond companion, "whatever you say is fine with me Brooke!"

"Oh really?"

Sam just rolled her eyes as a sudden urge to slap herself ran through her because she realized that she had just stepped into another one of Brooke's verbal, insinuating and sexual traps, "I have to keep my damn mouth shut."

Brooke smiled evilly as she pulled into the roadside diner named "Jake's Pit." The girl expertly fit her huge Hummer into the narrow driveway of the diner and parked next to the drive-thru window, "hi," Brooke chirpilly greeted the bespectackled, acne ridden teen at the window that stared back at her in abject wonder.

"Yeah?" the clerk asked still in awe of blond Brooke.

"Two large cokes...two large cheeseburgers...one heavy on the mayo and one heavy on the mayo and onions...two orders of frenchfries...heavy on the salt and pepper!"

Sam was quite beside herself with disbelief, "frenchfries? MAYO? Cheese? That's an awful lot of..."

"Calories Sam?"

"Well you have to admit its not what you usually eat Brooke."

"But I thought that you liked fat girls Sammy."

Sam suddenly coughed as she almost drowned on her own saliva, "what...did you just say to me?"

Brooke shrugged her shoulders, "I've seen you watching Carmen with nothing but PURE lust in your eyes Sam!"

"NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOWWWWWAAAAAYYYYY! Carm's my best friend! She's like a sister to me!"

"Oh?" Brooke pouted sexily and Sam's heart almost went up into her throat, "but I always thought I was your only sister Sammy!"

"Uh...well yes..."

"Its okay Sam. I'm cool with the lesbian thing!"

"I am NOT a lesbian!" Sam exclaimed defensively, "YOU'RE the lesbian!"

"So?"

"I'm not a lesbian!" Sam was almost at boiling point.

"HEH!" Brooke snickered, "yeah...sure!"

"Its true!"

"And pigs fly!"

"I'M NOT A LESBIAN BROOKE!"

"Hey no need to burst a vein McPherson!"

"But..."

"I'm cool Sam. I happen to think Carmen is WAY OUT sexy! You just wanna dive into her big boobs and squeeze them for hours even though I like your boobs a whole lot more!"

"Brooke..." Sam's eyes were now the size of saucers.

"I'd betcha Carmen would make the best mattress in the world!"

"Um..." Sam just wanted to dig her own grave right there and just die to get away from Brooke.

"ORDER'S READY!" the clerk's shaky voice interrupted Brooke's sexual revelry and Sam's deathwish.

"Oh yeah," Brooke smiled as she reached out the Hummer window for the two, greasy paper bags containing her own and Sam's lunch that the blushing diner clerk was handing her, "thanks."

"That'll be five sixty," the bespectackled clerk managed to spat out amid his furious revolution of aroused facial acne.

"Outta ten!" Sam exclaimed as she shoved a ten dollar bill past Brooke into the clerk's sweaty palm and tried not to look at Brooke who was staring at her with a feral smile.

"Four forty outta ten," the clerk replied nervously as his trembling hands deposited the change into Brooke's outstretched hand.

"Thanks," Brooke gave the nervous boy a toothy grin and a wink.

Sam stared out of the back windows of the Hummer as Brooke drove it out of the diner's driveway, and she could have sworn that the boy at the drive-thru window had fainted. The girl sat back down in her seat as she laughed, "you certainly made his entire month for him Brooke. He'll be wanking off for a long time after this."

"Want the change back Sammy?"

"No. Its fine. Keep it."

"Why?"

"Huh?"

"Why don't you want your change back Sam?"

"No reason."

"Scared to touch me Sammy?"

"OH. BROTHER."

"Think I've got COOTIES?" Brooke was enjoying herself inmensely at poor Sam's expense.

"I so did not hear that!"

Brooke didn't answer but continued to drive in silence for a few minutes until she pulled the Hummer onto the side of the road to park under a huge tree, "nice shade don't you think?"

"Sure." Sam continued to eye Brooke, trying to gauge the blond and predict when her next sexual comment would come and be ready for it.

"We'll eat here. Okay Sam?"

"K."

"Pass the ketchup and I'll spray the fries. We can share one order and save the other one for later huh Sam?"

"Yeah," Sam was so absorbed in rummaging through one of the greasy paper bags filled with their lunch that she completely forgot about Brooke's mind games and sexual insinuations.

"Like your burger Sam?"

"You bet," Sam mumbled as she daintily unwrapped a cheeseburger and held it to her lips.

"That's not the one with the onions, right Sam?"

"Absolutely not," Samantha replied absently.

"Hope you don't mind about the onions." Brooke said quietly just when her brunette dream opened her full lips and poised to bite the cheeseburger in her pale hands.

"Hhhhhmmmm?"

"I said...that I hope you don't mind my onion breath when I kiss you!"

Sam's head whiped toward Brooke as her eyes almost exploded from her head, "Y..." Sam gave her step-sibling a dark, angry glare, "wh...."

"You're not very hungry are you Sam?"

"Not. Really. No."

"Well we can save the burgers for later and just drink our cokes now," Brooke added while still sporting her insinuating grin.

"Good idea Brooke," Sam let go of an exasperated sigh as she began to slowly slurp her coke through her straw.

"Like it Sammy?"

"Mmmmm yeah," Sam replied dreamily.

"So..." Brooke began, "did Harrison ever...like...kiss you with his mouth full of food?"

"EEEWWW much?" NO of course not!"

"Lovers normally eat out of each other's mouths Sam."

"That's like totally disgusting! Did you ever do that with Nicole?"

"No."

"Point made!" Sam clutched her plastic up of coke nervously and just stared at the dark liquid inside it.

"I wasn't in love with Nicole," Brooke replied pensively, "and you weren't in love with Harrison. You never were!" Brooke pondered loudly as she slurped her drink through her straw and watched Sam with intensity in her eyes.

"Harrison and I grew up together," Sam said nonchalantly, "I've known him since like forever. He's cute and I love him a lot so it was easy for me to..."

"Have sex with him!" Brooke said angrily as she threw her large plastic cup of coke out of her window.

"What's wrong?" Sam asked with genuine concern.

"Nothing," Brooke said as she turned on the Hummer's engine and got back on the highway, resuming the drive, "we're not too far from the cabin."

"I know."

"Sam?"

"Yeah Brooke?"

"We'll leave the burgers for much later okay?"

"Whatever," Sam mumbled.

"You know how sex gets you really REALLY hungry so we'll need something to get our strength back after."

Sam was innocently still slurping her drink and suddenly took too big a gulp upon Brooke's words registering in her mind. The beguiling girl suddenly let go of a small spray of liquid from partly compressed lips and began to cough agitatedly.

"Sam? You okay?" Brooke stopped the car and reached over with her free hand to gently pat the girl on her trembling back, "Sammy?"

"Huh...ugh!"

"No more coke for you!" Brooke seized the cup of soft drink from her sister's hand and threw it out of her window, and continued massaging Sam's back.

Sam continued to cough but recovered well enough to speak, "thanks Brooke."

"Anytime," Brooke said with a knowing smile as she went back to her driving.

"Yeah," Sam rolled her eyes as a sign of her impatience.

Several moments of silence passed between Sam and Brooke as they continued on their trip to Las Tunas. Evening was falling steadily as a slight breeze blew in through the open windows of the Hummer and played gently with Sam's long hair. Brooke drove her Hummer slowly down the highway so that she could safely turn her head often and watch how the wind made sexy waves in Sam's dark locks, "want me to open the sunroof Sam?"

"Good idea Brooke."

Brooke pressed the appropriate button on the dashboard before her and listened to the whirring sound of the sunroof opening above her head while she watched as Sam threw her gorgeous head back to look at the sky above, "better now?"

"The stars are out," Sam whipsered.

"I'm looking at one right now," Brooke mumbled to herself.

"You say something McQueen?"

"Nothing."

"Okay."

Once more silence fell like a thick veil between the two girls as they continued on their journey. Finally Sam shattered the uneasy quiet with her soft words. "Now I remember."

"What?" Brooke asked casually as she turned to look at Sam and the look of wonder in the brunette's eyes.

"You had two lovers Brooke; Josh and Nicole."

"Well yeah."

"I also had two lovers; Harrison and Emory."

Brooke felt a knot of panic in her throat for she feared losing Sam if the girl remembered Emory once more, "you were...his lover?"

"Yes," Sam said quietly as she looked through the sunroof up at the stars.

"Sam?"

"Yes Brooke. I remember everything now."

"Were you in love with Emory?" Brooke's voice trembled perceptively.

"Yes. I loved him."

Brooke slowed the Hummer and parked on the side of the road once more. Brooke clenched and unclenched her sweaty hands on the steering wheel as she tried to control wave after wave of desperation that washed through her.

"What now McQueen? If you keep stopping like this we'll never make it to the cabin!"

"Sam?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you think I'm disgusting?"

"What?" Sam was shocked at Brooke's question, "are you serious?"

"Answer me please!"

Brooke's sudden gravity sobered Samantha, "of course I don't!"

"No matter what happens?"

"Yeah. No matter what."

"Sam...even if I was sick and filthy...smelly..."

"I'd take care of you Brooke. You would do the same for me!"

"Yes I would Sam."

"Why are you asking me this stuff Brooke?"

"I...just..." Brooke's voice cracked, "need to know."

"Brooke..."

"Would you eat out of my mouth Sam?"

"Um..." Sam's eyes looked everywhere but at Brooke, "well..." the girl blushed and felt so ashamed that she could have died in that very instant, "I..."

Brooke simply started to sob in the most pitiful fashion and Sam simply felt guilty to see the girl that way.

"Hey Brooke! Please don't cry...please! Um...yeah I would okay?"

"I...don't believe you!"

"You actually want me to prove it to you?" Sam's dark eyes were wide with shock.

Brooke only nodded vigorously and in silence.

Sam sighed in deep exasperation as she shook her head and rolled her eyes in disgust at the situation, "weird!" Then the girl reached into one of the greasy paper bags and took out a cheeseburger, unwrapped it and presented it to Brooke, "take a bite!"

"What?" Brooke was extremely confused by Sam's actions.

"Come on Brooke! Just take a bite alright already!"

Brooke eyed Sam strangely for a few seconds then did as she was told. Brooke opened her mouth and took a healthy bite from the cheeseburger that Sam held before her, "what now?" the blond asked with her mouth full of food.

"Just chew," Sam replied as she hastily put the unwrapped cheeseburger back into the paper bag that formerly held it.

Brooke automatically did as Sam bid her and began to chew the morsel in her mouth.

While Brooke slowly chewed the morsel in her mouth, and before she could react in any way Sam leaned over and began to kiss her full on the lips.

Brooke's mind became blank and her entire body exploded into a million points of pleasure that quickly centered into a very defined ache between her thighs as she was finally able to reason once more, "Sammy is KISSING ME!" Brooke moaned softly as she leaned into Sam and her arms came up to wrap themselves around her brunette's voluptuous, warm body.

The only sounds heard inside the Hummer were of chewing, kissing, saliva swishing from mouth to mouth and heavy breathing.

Brooke tilted her head and opened her mouth to give Sam's insistent tongue entrance into her mouth. Then Sam dived wholly into Brooke as her tongue danced in the blonde's mouth and took part of the contents of Brooke's mouth into her own to chew them and return them once more to Brooke who eagerly received them again. After several seconds of absorbing each other's warm breaths and saliva, each girl swallowed half of the morsel that Brooke had originally eaten and had travelled between Sam's mouth and her own countless times.

The moment seemed to pass by much too quickly for Brooke who clung eagerly to her Samantha thus refusing to let go even when the girl showed signs of wanting to end their mutual kiss.

"Oh Sammy please don't stop," Brooke pleaded as she held Sam tighter in the circle of her arms.

"Brooke I have to breathe sometime!" Sam laughed lightly making her body rumble and the echo of it reverberate deliciously against an aroused Brooke's bosom.

"Sammy," Brooke said with such tenderness that it made her ache and Sam tremble, "I'm crazy about you."

"So I finally convinced you?" Sam whispered seductively with her beautiful face still pressed to Brooke's own pretty one.

"Its just so obvious," Brooke added sheepishly as she rubbed her nose against Sam's smooth cheek.

"What is?" came Sam's hoarse reply amid sighs of desire.

"That we're in love Sammy!"

"Well now..."

"Don't be coy!" Brooke smiled as she playfully, gently shook her girl, "admit it!"

"I have a bad memory," Sam giggled daintily.

"I want to hear you say it!" Brooke said as her hot uneven breath fanned Sam's face, as her lips travelled in small kisses along her brunette's jawline, "say it."

For Sam the world seemed to come to a screeching halt as she felt as if her body exploded then melted into millions of small raindrops that finally merged into a single orgasmic, nervous core.

"Please Sam...I need to hear you say it," Brooke's quivering echo filled the interior of the Hummer, then died amid her soft moans and soft kisses given to Sam's alabaster forehead.

"Yes," Sam admonished slowly, quietly, "we are...in love."

"Mmmmm," Brooke hummed with delight as she buried her face in Sam's silky locks, "oh Sammy."

"Brooke we have to stop!" Sam said painfully, reluctantly as she recalled their original itinerary.

"No..."

"We'll never make it to the cabin!"

Realization finally dawned upon Brooke of where they were, "damn," the girl swore as she reluctantly let go of Samantha, "you're right!"

"Of course," Sam laughed with velvet intimacy as she scooted away from Brooke and back to her seat on the passenger side of the vehicle.

"This isn't over McPherson! Its only just begun!" Brooke growled as she reached out quickly grabbing Sam by the neck, drawing the girl roughly to her and kissing her briefly on the lips.

Sam's gasp as Brooke released her was immediately drowned out by the sound of the Hummer's engine starting up as the blond turned the key in the ignition and got the giant vehicle back on the highway. Silence reigned thickly between the two girls as they continued their journey to the cabin. Sam would blush deeply, the crimson hue of her cheeks almost neon in the dimly lit interior of the Hummer as the brunette occasionally spied Brooke's glowing lustful gaze raking her slender, beautiful form.

"Finally!" Brooke exclaimed in evident relief as she turned the Hummer off the highway and onto a narrow hilly path that led into the woods and to the cabin, "we're almost there!"

"Yeah!" Sam's voice almost squeaked as she glanced briefly at Brooke, then almost cringed fearfully at the intensity in the blond girl's eyes that bathed her with almost rough pleasure.

Sam was no longer the virgin girl of barely six or seven months prior when she first admitted her love for Brooke McQueen. The gorgeous girl had experienced two male lovers who had basked delightfully in the soft folds of her young body. Yet at that very instant Samantha felt more like a virgin neophyte as she trembled under Brooke's fiery amber gaze. Brooke had tasted from the fruits of both the given and forbidden trees of life, yet she had never loved so fiercely or felt such a deep and volatile arousal as she had for her beguiling Samantha, "we're here!" Brooke shouted in triumph as she finally parked her Hummer before a mid sized cabin with a large chimney that lay in the midst of a thick forest. Brooke clutched the steering wheel of the Hummer as she sweated profusely, "Sam?"

"Yeah?" Sam glanced shyly at her blond companion.

"Will you do something for me?"

"Sure Brooke."

"Lock up the Hummer," Brooke as she handed Sam the car keys, "leave our gear in here and just go inside. But give me a minute to turn on the lights inside the cabin okay?"

"Yeah okay. Is that all?"

"Well no," Brooke smiled, "when you go in lock the door behind you and go directly to the master bedroom."

Sam gulped audibly and blushed fiercely, "B...Brooke?"

"Are you getting squeamish on me McPherson?"

"No I am not!" Sam replied, filled with indignation as her delicate raven brows became a single knot.

"Good," Brooke smiled mischievously as she turned toward the cabin, "cause I'll be waiting for you. I won't have to come get you right?"

"No!"

Brooke said nothing as she climbed the steps of the cabin, unlocked the door and disappeared into the awaiting darkness within. Sam swallowed twice but with difficulty as her throat became a dry knot. The girl watched Brooke enter the cabin, then saw the windows light up as her step-sister evidently turned on the lights in every single room inside. "Damn!" Sam exclaimed as she fumbled while locking every single door of the Hummer by pressing just one button on door of the driver's side of the vehicle, "she's always turning me into a blubbering moron!" Sam was angry with herself as she realized just how easily Brooke had manipulated her. "I'll show her I'm no fool!" the stunning beauty swore as she trudged into the cabin with revenge burning in her heart, "Brooke?" Sam locked the front door of the cabin behind her as she went in, then traveresed the small living room, passed by the kitchen and side bathroom. Then Sam quickly walked down a short hall at the end of which stood the open doorway of the master bedroom, "Brooke are you in there ?"

"Yeah Sam! Get in here right now McPherson!" The sound of Brooke's impatient voice rang out of the master bedroom toward the approaching Samantha.

Sam hastened her steps toward the open doorway that seemed to almost beckon to her in desperation.

"I know what you're up to McQueen!" Sam exclaimed loudly as she finally entered the master bedroom.

"What am I up to Sammy?"

Sam stopped short as her eyes almost bulged from their sockets at the sight that awaited her; from the door to the middle of the room lay Brooke's clothing on the floor in chaotic fashion, and by the bed stood a smiling, expectant Brooke wrapped only in a bedsheet.

"Well Sam...what am I up to?"

"Um..." Suddenly the gorgeous brunette had forgotten how to speak as her ebony eyes clung to Brooke's inviting form.

"You won the bet Sammy," Brooke said huskily as her entire body burned in fiery anticipation of Sam's gentle, feathery touch. Then Brooke let the bedsheet that covered her drop to the floor. Now Brooke stood quivering and naked before Sam's incredulous eyes, "Sammy?"

Sam stood silent as her eyes now darker than eternity and totally dilated raked hungrily up and down Brooke's long, slender and lean figure, stopping at the blond patch of pubic hair just above her vulva, at her small, pert breasts with hardened rosy nipples, at her long, athletic legs, "wow," Sam mouthed quietly as she shook her head in disbelief, "I never imagined..."

"What Sammy?" Brooke asked breathlessly as her heart stood on the verge of pummeling down to her feet in deep shame and grief if her Samantha found her repulsive, "what?"

"You're absolutely magnificent," Sam replied while trapped in a revelry of Brooke.

"SAM!" Brooke gushed with joy as she rushed forth and took the distraught brunette in her long, slender arms, "I'm all yours!" Then Brooke proceeded to kiss her Samantha almost senseless until the flood of saliva that issued from her mouth ran down Sam's slender neck, "forever."

"Me too," Sam sighed dreamily as she wrapped her arms around Brooke's waist, "Im yours too."

"Forever Sammy?"

"Yeah," Sam said contentedly as she nuzzled Brooke's neck with her face.

"Yeah," Brooke sighed as she closed her eyes and held her girl lovingly.

Yeah...

Fin.
