Summary: Dawn reflects on recent events in her life.

It was so nice to have my Buffy back at last. Of course, I was unhappy at first when I found out about her and Spike. (Even to think I once had a crush on him made me feel sick.) But I forgave her. As did the others. Except Xander. But I reckoned he'd come around in the end, and in the meantime I did my best to keep Buffy from dwelling on it. Which was made easier by the fact that that Willow and Tara had got back together (And how! They could barely keep their hands off each other most of the time.) which meant that Casa Summers was a happy place once again.

We did tons of fun things together and because Willow and Tara were a couple, some people thought we were too. Buffy just laughed it off, but I didn't... because I wanted it to be true.

I kept telling myself that I was sick and dirty and wrong. But I couldn't make myself believe it. Willow and Tara were so happy together. Why couldn't Buffy and I be too? All the men in her life had hurt or degraded her. I would never do that. Never! Ever!

But I could never tell her this.

So, even though we were dating (Well, I thought of it as dating.) it never went beyond a hot milky drink and an early night on weekdays.

But then came that Saturday I'll never forget.

Willow and Tara had gone off on some wiccan weekend thing and we'd gone to the movies. Well, we were just getting home, and Buffy was going on and on about how Matt Damon was so dreamy and didn't I agree. And all I could think of was how much I wanted to kiss her. And so that's what I did, right there on the veranda.

I kissed her!

And she said nothing. Then she opened the door, took my hand, pulled me into the living room and sat me down on the sofa. I was so scared. She was going to shout and scream at her dirty no-good sister and maybe even hit me. But she didn't.

She kissed me back!

We were on the sofa, she was touching me all over and kissing me. I was in heaven!

We kissed long and hard until I had to push her away so I could catch my breath. I think she forgot we humans need oxygen now and then. She immediately pulled off my top and undid my bra and before I knew it she was sucking on both my breasts and undoing my trousers as I just moaned with growing excitement.

I was wet and my panties were soaked, and at any other time I'd have been so embarrassed, but when she touched me there I went wild with lust. Her fingers caught the tip of my clit and I found myself demanding that she fuck me.

Buffy's strong fingers ripped through the flimsy material, entering and taking my virginity all in one go. I screamed with shock, pain and pleasure all at once. But her soothing words of love, the return of her warm, wet mouth to mine and her dexterous thumb, circling around and over my slick clit, quickly took away the pain and doubled my pleasure. My whole body shook and shuddered as her thrusting fingers eventually pushed me over the edge and into a prolonged orgasm.

When it finally finished, Buffy gently withdrew her fingers, which were streaked with my blood. When she saw that she was shocked at what she'd done. "I'm so sorry," was all she could say, tears filling her eyes.

"I'm not," I replied, "I've never been more not sorry in all my life."

Then I kissed her tears away before doing to her what she'd done to me. I did what I'd longed to do and made love to her, with my fingers - and lips - and tongue - and every fibre of my being.

After what seemed like a hundred clitty-licking climaxes later, we just lay together. Buffy stroking my hair, me still kissing her, despite my aching jaw. Then she thanked me, and I said, "There's no need for that. Just buy me a new pair of panties." And we laughed.

We've not stopped laughing since.
