"My name is Samantha McPherson and I'm the editor and chief reporter for the Zapruder Reporter, the official newspaper of Kennedy High School. The paper is named after Abraham Zapruder, the man who took the most important home movie in history.

On November 22, 1963, in Dallas, Texas, Mr Zapruder captured the very moment that President John Fitzgerald Kennedy was assassinated by an unknown gunman situated on the grass knoll.

Yes, I know that the Warren Commission said Lee Harvey Oswald did it from the book depository window, but having looked at the commission's evidence, the only thing you can say it proves is that Oswald didn't do it. Because, as the evidence clearly shows, he was eating a sandwich in the downstairs lunchroom at the time the shots were fired.

Of course he was conveniently shot by Jack Ruby before he could be brought to trial and the whole matter was effectively hushed up thereafter.

The Zapruder footage was bought by Time-Life and consequently the complete film has not been available for public examination until recently. I was idly looking it over for the annual JFK tribute article when I saw something that will turn history on its head. Which is why I'm making this recording, just in case I'm imagining it and tomorrow I find it isn't there.

So what did I find? After the shooting the motorcade speeds on towards the underpass. As the camera follows, you can clearly see the grassy knoll and someone with a walking stick moving closer to the street. A walking stick with what looks like a telescopic sight!

You can't see his face, not until the President's car passes him by and he turns to face the camera full-on in frame-476.

I know that man!

I saw his picture just the other day. A fellow student was showing me her family snaps and there he was. William Cherry, Mary Cherry's grandfather, he's the assassin!

What's that?! Oh, it's you. How long have you been listening? What are you doing with that? No! Don't! Nooooo!!!"
